• Common methods of contraception include:
• The rhythm/natural family planning method
• Hormonal methods which include:
  1. The use of a pill or
  2. Regular injections
• Barrier methods which include:
  1. Male or Female condoms
  2. Diaphragm/Dutch cup
• The use of spermicides
• Loop/IUD
• Sterilisation
• Abstinence
• Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages
