2020 has been a year of many unusuals by any measure. Normal school routines have been upended by the virus and the latest item to be affected appears to be first-year applications made by those who wanted to become first-year students at the University of Zimbabwe. During normal years the University would have published a list of successful applications by now.
That has not happened yet and it seems a lot of applicants and stakeholders were getting restless and worried. The University has since published a notice explaining the reason for the delay. To no one’s surprise they say its Covid-19
