The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council has published the timetable for Grade 7 examinations. The exams will commence on 29 November with students sitting for the English Paper 1 examination. The final examination will be written on Friday 10 December when students sit for Social Science Paper 2.
The nature of the timetable seems to suggest that Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations will stray into next year just like the exams for last year were only completed early this year. Also to pad things up ZIMSEC has also now introduced CALAs which will make up 30% of the final grade. This is despite the fact that there have been widespread news of fraud with teachers doing CALAs for their students.
