Advantages

• Is fast
• They are comfortable e.g. they have air conditioning and heating.
• They are protected from weather elements.
• They can conduct door to door deliveries.
• Independent i.e you can drive them to wherever you like whenever you want as they do not have fixed time tables or route permits

Disadvantages

• They are expensive to buy and maintain
• They carry fewer passengers
• Most are not versatile e.g. there are kombis,trucks, vans, sedans etc.
• They can cause fatal accidents.
• They pollute the environment.
• They create congestion
• They require roads.
• They require fuel which might make them expensive to operate
