Primary producer warehouses
- There are two main types of primary producers warehouses in Zimbabwe:
- Grain silos used to store grain by the Grain Marketing Board.
- Tobacco Auction Floors.
Grain Silo
- Run and managed by the Grain Marketing Board.
- Are used to safely store grain.
- Various grains are graded and then prepacked.
- The grains can then be distributed evenly when centrally controlled.
- Imported grain is stored to prevent shortages.
- They are also sued to stabilise the price of grain.
Tobacco auction floors

- This is where tobacco for sale is stored.
- Tobacco is graded.
- Tobacco is packed into bales after sale.
- An example are the Tobacco Sales Floor and Boka Sales Floor.
