Following a spike in cases of rape of minors, the Zimbabwean Police have urged parents to be vigilant and not leave their children in the custody of friends, relatives or strangers.
The poice is urging parents/guardians not to release their children into the custody of friends, relatives or neighbors in circumstances where they are not able to monitor their movements. Parents should not trust the welfare of the girl child with friends, relatives, strangers, especially males.
