After losing the race to the death in the English Premiership League to Manchester City; Liverpool had quite the consolation yesterday evening. They beat fellow English team, Tottenham to claim their sixth European top league cup. The match was certainly not as entertaining as anticipated but they got the job done.
This year’s Europa and UEFA finals were all English affairs. On Wednesday night, Chelsea emphatically saw off rivals Arsenal to claim the Europa League crown.
