A number of individuals or possibly one individual using several aliases have been revealed to be selling fake November 2022 examination papers to desperate students for US$80 each. These individuals are Dr TN Machache who was using mobile number 0775 197 627, Mr PG Chigumbu who was using mobile number 0736 312 609 and Mr N Mwenje who was using mobile number 0789 962 343 claimed they had genuine November 2022 examination papers for several subjects but ZIMSEC has dismissed the claims as fake and labelled the individuals as fraudsters.

The numbers given by the individuals appear to be unreachable at the moment but when reporters contacted them earlier on they claimed to be genuine. They also said that they were no longer offering Mathematics and Combined Science examination papers as they had reached the number of people they wanted. They also said the cost for each paper was US$80 although it is not clear whether this includes some other services in addition to just getting the paper.
ZIMSEC has dismissed the papers as fake and called the individuals behind the operation fraudsters.
Good day, ZIMSEC is aware of the image with purported 2022 exam papers on sale. The Security department of the Council has verified that these are fake papers being sold in an attempt to defraud those who purchase them.
ZIMSEC has also revealed that investigations are under way to determine the identity of these individuals who will almost certainly be arrested.
